I've seriously been neglecting my blog, that's for sure!
Aunt Trinity came for a vacation and we filled our days with visits to the Air Force Academy, library, and Olympic Training Center. It was super fun having her here to play with the girls and hang out during nap times together.

Summer has arrived as has the mostly-nightly bath times. The girls pray for the warm weather to stay and enjoy riding their bikes, taking walks and digging in the dirt and plants.

Maddie has finished most of the preschool work that we started last fall and is officially ready for Kindergarten. I've been praying and planning many evenings and reading some excellent literature. She also was accepted to the Cottage Program at The Classical Academy - it's like part-time school for homeschoolers. We are waiting to see if there is room in the 2-morning/week option. Either way, we'll be busy next year with some new math, lots more reading and continuing with our Monday School mornings.

Troy and I celebrated 7 years of marriage by taking a relaxing trip to Breckenridge. My parents watched our girls so we could be kid-free for 3 whole days. We enjoyed the sights even though it was rainy most of the days. Eating out, walking the streets and soaking in the hot tub without thinking about schedules, meals, or when bedtime is, was wonderfully welcome and we enjoyed ourselves immensely.

Otherwise occupying my time has been major decluttering, housecleaning and organizing for a yard sale. Liz and I are planning on quite a large sale on this Friday - if you are interested in coming, let me know and I'll pass along her address. We have oodles of girls clothes, shoes, baby equipment and household goods. And the best part is - everything is priced as a garage sale should be! I sometimes am indignant about the pricing at the recent garage sales I've visited...$2 for a book? or $6 for a used dress? Anyway, we're pricing to sell so tell your friends and come say hello!
I hear ya on the night baths. I mentioned that at dinner tonight as I was about to have to give the girls yet another shower b/c we were cutting it too close to bedtime! Ugh, that's definitely a drawback to summer!
