To my three-year-old

The Lord mightily blessed us with your life. You are beautiful girl with a sweet heart to love others. When I remember the day you were born, I remember a tiny baby (6lb, 3oz) who was born super fast! We checked into the hospital at 1:36am and you were born at 1:49am! I got to hold you right away and gaze into the bluest blue eyes. You didn't cry but just trustingly held my eyes. We were thrilled to have our second girl and Madelyn was excited to finally see 'the baby'. I love the way you both love each other, play together and help each other grow into who God created you to be. You are such a blessing as a little sister to Madelyn and a big sister to baby Charlotte. Being the middle child isn't always easy but you have filled the role as an exceptional peacemaker and example setter. Your tenderness to others is lovely to see and I already see the makings of a "gentle and quiet spirit" in your heart. This is my prayer for you from 1 Thessalonians 2:11...
I pray that God may make you worthy of His calling and may fulfill every resolve for good and every work of faith by His power, so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
