Handel's Messiah

Last night a friend and I enjoyed the wonderful music of Handel's Messiah at a local church. It was performed with excellence and with the worship of the Messiah clearly the goal. My sister Emily sang in the choir. It was my first time to actually hear the entire score played and it was beautiful.

"Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!"
