harvest

My aunt in Wyoming has a large, bountiful garden. On our latest trip to visit her and my grandma, we harvested huge quantities of green beans, squash and of course apples. My sister and I made my grandma's famous dilly beans yesterday and with the rest of the cans decided to make some dill pickles too. Madelyn helped snap the bean ends and add the extra garlic and dill to the jars.

  1. Oh yum! I wish my garden had been more productive, I would have made some dilly beans too! Just found grandma's recipe. Can't wait to try it next year!

    BTW.. if you have any extra jars we'll take some off your hands. ;)
