We have had a busy month of fun! Troy celebrated his 29th birthday with a work trip to Kansas - and we had the fun of going along! The church he was visiting was in a tiny farm town right across the CO border. A dream kid's vacation: pull out couch becomes a bed, big breakfast of fruit loops, muffins and juice, morning of swimming in a warm heated pool, sudsy bath in a huge jetted tub, watching Dora on cable t.v. and eating special snacks from the hotel!

We arrived home just in time to pick up Nana and Grampa from the airport! They came to visit for the week and celebrate Easter with us. We spent a night in the mountains and had fun at the library, at an Easter egg hunt, and shopping.
The night before Easter, we dyed Easter eggs and made resurrection cookies. We read the gospel accounts of the last supper, betrayal of Jesus and crucifixion. We left the cookies overnight in the oven and the girls had the surprise of finding "empty" cookies in the morning!

We had Easter dinner at my parent's house with most of my siblings, nieces and nephews. Here is Charlotte with cousin Abi - they are just a few weeks apart in age.

Before the grandparents left, we went on a shopping excursion to show Nana and Grampa some shops they had never been to. The girls love playing in PBK!
