October

Sorry for the long absence from blogging. I caught the beginning-of-winter flu from somewhere and was dreadfully ill for about a week. This week I am finally feeling better and am caught up on my sleep. We have still been busily working on our school projects and Bible memory verses. Madelyn has conquered some of her lazy spirit and actually looks forward to finishing the page. We include Ellie in most of the work - she likes her puzzles, coloring and practicing her recitations. We went to a Harvest Festival last weekend and the girls had fun picking out a pumpkin and making apple cider. This week is also our monthly field trip - to another nearby pumpkin patch! I love the fall; the chilly sweater nights and the sleeping-in type mornings. The colors are beautiful in our neighborhood right now, including the tiny maple tree in our backyard. Charlotte occupies herself with crawling all over the house and eating lots of people food. She is working on pulling herself to standing too. Isn't she the most adorable baby?

  1. OK, Erin, how do you have all three girls with the cutest hair styles everyday?! I will need salon 101 after our little girl is born. Charlotte is adorable as well as Maddie and Ellie. Did you know we are going to have an Ellie (Elliana actually). It means, God has answered our prayers. What is your email address? I don't know if I want to put my phone number out there on our blog? Happy Fall Day! Tammy

  2. i love the fall too! i agree with your friend Tammy --you always have such creative ways of doing your girls' hair...I'll have to study your photos after Gloria grows some more hair! Right now pigtails or a barrette to clip her bangs/front hair back are about all I can do with her fine little hair.
