May Notes

Charlotte had her first taste of real food on May 3rd. She likes bananas, applesauce, green beans, carrots, sweet potatoes and rice cereal. Do you know how easy it is to make your own rice/millet/other grain cereals? It's super easy and much cheaper than buying the boxed kind.

She has bonded with her giraffe and likes to hold her with one arm while she makes a sucking motion near her other arm (lying on her side) to go to sleep.

She can roll from her stomach to back but hasn't yet gone the other way. She can still move her way around the room quite efficiently though!

Great-grandpa and grandma Myers came to visit overnight while they are road tripping.

We're enjoying spring finally making it's appearance here in the lovely state of Colorado. It's been a windy few weeks with a thunderstorms and cloudy days. But the sunshine is persistent and it's been getting warmer each day. The girls are enjoying having a yard to play in and a sidewalk to ride their bikes. We've been going to parks and play dates - so much easier without coats, hats and boots! This was one windy outing at Garden of the Gods...

On the 25th, Charlotte had her half-birthday.
