Things keeping me busy this month...
Lose the Momma Belly Challenge - A challenge I designed for some of my girlfriends and sisters to get us back in shape after having our babies. It's keeping me motivated and helping me to lose those last few pounds and inches to pre-baby days.
Keeping three girlies happy and healthy - Charlotte has a bit of a stuffy nose this week. Maddie and Troy were both sick the past few weeks and I hope this is the end! Ella is a little mimic of Maddie these days so we're trying to impress upon Maddie the joys of being the eldest. :)
Reading - I checked some books out of our church's library and have been enjoying some great literature! Currently on my reading list is Kitchen Table Counseling, Kissed the Girls and Made them Cry, Holy Habits, and A Place of Grace. I also just ordered a book for Troy's birthday called Instructing a Child's Heart by Ted Tripp. For those of you who have read Shepherding a Child's Heart, this is the continuation of his parenting wisdom. Troy and I are looking forward to reading that one aloud.
Teaching Madelyn to read - We received our amazon order with Maddie's reading books. We're going to use Phonics Pathways and hopefully have a blast with reading in the coming months.
Photography Class - You may have noticed that I haven't posted many pictures in the last couple weeks. (Sorry Nana!). I am taking an online class with my friend here town leading us all to better photographs. So I've been spending my camera time on the basics and hoping to have some wonderful shots to show you soon. I am starting to hope and save for a better camera too. :)
Hey Erin, where is the online class through? That sounds like something I might be interested in. I really would like to improve my photography skills.
ReplyDeleteI have really been enjoying the Phonics Pathways with my little guys. Even little 2 1/2 year old Xander gets into some of the game playing and letter identifying that we've been doing.
