eight things...

Emily tagged me to write eight things about my children. wow, my first time being tagged!

1. Charlotte slept 8 hours the other night!
...But hasn't repeated it since. Her normal night sleeping pattern is going to bed at 9, dream feeding at 10:30, sleep until 4 or 5, eat and sleep till morning.

2. Ella now talks in complete sentences and copies everything Maddie says and does. She loves holding Charlotte though it's big baby against little girl!

3. Madelyn received a new easel for her birthday and now loves to paint! She is quite creative with the colors and thinks it's so funny to make trees yellow and people purple.

4. We have almost finished our Bible book that we gave the girls for Christmas. I have never seen Maddie so excited to read our nighttime story. She understands the emphasis this book has on the Bible being one big story. She couldn't wait to read about the Rescuer and is now wondering what Saul will try to do to ruin the Big Plan. I highly recommend the Jesus Storybook Bible, Every Story Whispers His Name

5. Charlotte is already is some 3-6 month clothes!

6. Ella has started asking, "what are we doin' tomorrow?" every night. Sometimes, if she's a little bored during the day, she'll ask then just to see if her week is going to get any more exciting.

7. Maddie told me the other day that she wanted to get married so she could have her own baby and hold her whenever she wanted. I asked her who was going to marry and she told me Gabe (friend from church) because he was only 3 and she was 4!

8. One more thing about sweet Charlotte...she really is a sweetie! If you lock eyes with her, she will start smiling and cooing right away. She gets very excited when you have a conversation with her and I know she already has a lot to say. :) She also loves her "star", the music toy on her playmat.

I tag Liz, Jennifer, Terra and anybody else that wants to play.

  1. Hi Erin,
Congratulations on your precious Charlotte. What is it like to be a mother of three girls? How fun! I can't believe how big they are getting. Congrats also on your new home.
    Love, Rachel
