August Rush

"The story of a charismatic young Irish guitarist and a sheltered young cellist who have a chance encounter one magical night above New York's Washington Square, but are soon torn apart, leaving in their wake an infant, August Rush, orphaned by circumstance. Now performing on the streets of New York and cared for by a mysterious stranger, August uses his remarkable musical talent to seek the parents from whom he was separated at birth."

Troy and I saw this movie last night and really enjoyed it. It's a sweet story and has a happy ending...perfect chick flick for a date night.

  1. Thanks for sharing about not wishing the day away. I'm not sure what it takes to jolt me back to living in each day for the Lord...I think the more isolated I am, the more overwhelming being a SAHM can be but when I get to see other ladies from bible study and have time to just laugh and decompress a bit, I have a much healthier prespective. Being homebound with cabin fever is hard though. We had rainy downpours every day last week (not snow I know but still unusual for SoCal) and that put me on the verge of being stir crazy. =)
