Life with three girls...

obviously leaves little time for blogging!
I hope to start being more consistent again as life gets back to it's new normal.
Madelyn is looking forward to turning 4 although she's waited "soooooo long" she's convinced the 31st will never arrive. She's enjoying the nativity we have set out and makes up her own version of the story. She told Ellie yesterday while they were playing "house" that she had to "leave town to go pay her taxes".

Ellie loves being a big sister. She wants to help me all the time and hold Charlotte and make sure she has her pacifier if she's crying. Her favorite games these days are all pretend...making food in her kitchen, playing house and babies with Maddie and being a little doggy around the house. She is also talking non-stop...with long sentences! I have a feeling that our house will rarely be quiet with three chatty girls.

We're enjoying Charlotte every day. She's a wonderful baby that we are loving getting to know. I'd almost forgotten about about how different each child is. Charlotte has her own set of quirks and personality. She is very sure about what she wants and is content when fed and changed. She likes her pacifier but only when she's sleepy and ready for bed. She doesn't like her car seat for long rides but loves falling asleep in her vibrating chair (thank you CA girls!). She's already getting chubby cheeks and is filling out that extra skin. We're hoping to sleep for some longer stretches at night soon. Right now she wakes up a couple times, eats more about 10 minutes and is right back asleep.

  2. Wow! I can't believe how much Charlotte has changed already. Some of her facial expressions remind me of Abi. Glad to hear you are doing well.
