We'd better enjoy it for the next 10 weeks! :) Ellie is doing great with using the toilet and holding it for longer and longer times. I put her in underwear for the first time last Friday and except for nap time and night time she has been almost completely dry. She tells us when she needs to go and insists on following proper protocol each trip to the bathroom, including putting the toilet seat away, placing the lid down and washing her hands.
Overheard today from Maddie...
It was 8:30 in the morning and I was hanging up some laundry in the girl's closet and also instructing Maddie to get dressed.
"After I get dressed, can we have a conversation?"
Right, like we haven't been having a conversation since 6:20 this morning.
After naptime, I was getting Maddie a snack and said, "I feel like all I ever do is feed you and get you drinks all day long."
She replied with "I know, it's so much fun!"
Just checkin in to see how everything is going. We would love to see a picture of mommy too!

ReplyDeletejust wanted to say that gloria is really into fuzzy objects now - stuff animals, blankets, etc and is really enjoying the taggie you made her! she doesn't suck on it normally but loves to feel all the different ribbons between her fingers! =)
