giraffes, daughters and scooters

Madelyn feeding the giraffes at the zoo.
(This was the only picture I got as keeping up with Maddie running and pushing Ellie in the stroller was enough to occupy my hands and mind.)

Ella is talking more each day and now puts together as many as 5 or 6 words to form sentences. Her pronunciation is quite clear too and we get a kick out her repeating everything her sister or anybody says! She's still a petite girly but it has made snuggling easier as mybelly continues to grow!

Madelyn has discovered how to "kick and tuck" on the swings so she is always requesting to visit the park by our house that has the swings. She has also been introduced to scooters thanks to the kids from park days with our church. My friend asked her today what she wanted for Christmas (we were discussing dates of birthday's and such) and she answered, "a scooter!" Isn't this one nice?

  1. Yea the minute I think I love this age of talking and such, I have my 22 mo old saying to me "Mommy, clean up now" when I forget to pick up a few of THEIR toys! And at least she uses her manners when telling me no and she says " no ma'am"! Gotta love it. Best of luck these last few months with the two running around and one more in the oven:)
