Apologies for the many days between posting...I have no excuse except for day to day life! God is using this time to stretch our faith and patience as we wait on Him.
We're still living out of suitcases and the girls have napped and slept all over town! The other day I told Maddie it was past her bedtime and she said, "where are we going?", meaning whose bed and house are we sleeping in tonight! Troy is working hard every day, applying different places and having follow-up phone calls. It's getting a little hard not having a place to call our own and the girls are doing tremendously well considering our random routines these days. It's been great being with all their aunts, uncles and cousins and spending time at Grammie and Grandpa's house. I don't have any new pictures today but I'm planning on going to my sister's to download some later so check back soon.
We've been instructing Madelyn about not storing up treasure for herself on earth but rather having treasure in heaven where God is. It's a lesson not just for selfish toddlers but for all of us to remember where our heart is and learning what is really going to last forever.
Matthew 6:19-21
Do not store up for yourselves treasure on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where theives break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where theives do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there you heart will be also.
Erin, I think of you and your family often. I'm sure God has great plans for your family. Thank you also for the bible quote. I needed to read that and remember it today :)
