Happy Thanksgiving!

What a wonderful Thanksgiving! We spent the day with a couple from our Bible study, Daniel and Kelly, and her parents, brothers and old roomate. Ellie and Maddie were the only kids at the show and got along fabulously with everybody. Kelly's parents had rented a place in Newport Beach for the get-together so we drove down around lunchtime. After naptime during which the ladies fixed food, we took some time to get family pictures at the beach. What could get better than spending Thanksgiving Day at the beach in upper-70 degree weather??! :) Dinner was yummy with the traditional turkey, potatoes, stuffing, salad, rolls and had an interesting twist with the asian additions from Kelly's family of Salmon Tarte (avacado salad with raw sushi tuna) and a soup made with asian melon. We finished of the feast with pumpkin and apple pies, ice cream, pumpkin cheesecake and Godvia chocolates. The girls were stuffed and ready for bed so after tucking them in we enjoyed an exciting game of Apples to Apples. Thanks Kel and Daniel for letting us be apart of your family fun!

I'm so thankful for the many blessings this year has held. Last year at this time, I was huge and waiting on baby Ella to make her appearance. I'm so thankful for my two girls and their amazing lives. It is a joy to have the place of mommy in their life. I'm thankful also for my incredible husband... I'm overwhelmingly greatful to God for his patience, joy and cherishing love. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!
