goodbye

We said goodbye today to our dearest friends, Owen, Emily and Kaiden. It was such a joy spending four wonderful months living in the same place. Being military families we never expected to see each other's familiar faces in this unfamiliar place. Emily and I have been friends since we were nine and for the first time we were able to experience including our husbands and children in that friendship. Madelyn and Kaiden had super fun being buddies and learning the rules of toddlerhood together. Ellie had double the snuggles from both of them. We're praying safe journey for them as they travel to their assisngment and that God will bless them in their new home. How blessed am I to have someone that makes saying goodbye so hard.
