We arrived home from our vacation last weekend. The time in CO was fun and Maddie had enough time to get all the aunts, uncles and cousins figured out before we had to leave. We kept busy while Troy was in class by going to the zoo and the botanical gardens, helping Auntie Liz with baby projects, playing in Grammie's playroom and just hanging out. It was a relaxing time although Troy had seasonal allergies and Ellie woke up most nights. We were so grateful to have the oppourtunity for a fun trip in the midst of Air Force duty!
Some of you have been asking about our future plans recently. As most of you know, Troy submitted his paperwork requesting separation from the Air Force. If accepted we would be finding a new job (and probably location) early next year. We have not heard anything back about it yet but we're hoping he's chosen to get out. Troy has been working a little on his resume and we've had many talks about where we'd like to live and what kind of work he'd like to be doing. Don't worry - as soon as we have word about it, we will pass it on to those interested! Meanwhile, we are trusting the Lord, who is sovreign over all, to direct us to the path He has for us.
Our new camera is awesome and I'm finally finding the time to figure out some neat things. Time to go to the library and check out books on the subject too. While home, I also took some pics of cousin Dean but don't have them on this computer yet.
