Daily routine
This is what we strive for on the days we are home. If you know anything about me in real life, you know that this is a challenge for me - but it's been going wonderfully! I'm very encouraged with the time I've saved, the progress on housework I've made and the girls seem to like the predictability. I have to thank my husband for helping me with my weakness in this area and also the girltalk blog some of the ideas for routines.
Speaking of the aforementioned blog, I'm going to be joining their online book club and this month we are reading Twelve Extraordinary Women by John MacArthur. I've read the introduction and started the first chapter. It h had some wonderful insights so far and I look forward to reading the rest.
Today we went to the farmer's market and library storytime. We got some peppers and eggplant and are planning on grilling out when Daddy gets home. I've gotten caught up on housework and Troy helped with laundry last night (being the sweetheart that he is!) so we're now looking towards getting ready for our trip. Troy has some school to attend in Colorado so we're all going for a couple weeks and making a family vacation out of it! Maddie is super excited about seeing her Grammie and Gramps and all her aunts, uncles and cousins. She talks about packing her suitcase and backpack every day!
We might perhaps have some possible big news to share with you all soon...Troy is applying to get out of the Air Force. After being denied last time, moving here and then coming up for a deployment, we find out that they are again looking for some people to volunteer to separate...huh?? That would be the Air Force for you! :) He's just submitting his paperwork sometime this week but there is a very good possibility that we will be moving and getting another job early next year (Jan-Feb). Please pray with us that God will show us His will for our family.
I'm so excited to get our new camera - it should be here today and I can get some more pictures!! Here's what it looks like:

wa-who! that's exciting. big changes for all of us!
