Yes, our almost 9-month old daughter is finally eating some people food. She had sweet potatoes and rice cereal today but applesauce is her favorite. She also likes eating bananas out of her mesh food holder. She's still not getting "full" from food but at least she'll eat more than 3 bites! She's also getting up on all fours and pushing herself around...but no crawling yet. She can sign all done, thank you, bye-bye, and more and says ma-ma. When I remind Madelyn to say yes ma'am, we frequently hear a little voice in the backseat or blanket say "mmma-maa"! It's so sweet...
Madelyn had a friend over today for the first time since we've been living here. They are friends at church and were flying out of LAX this morning. So they came over for a little bit before they left on their trip. Maddie and Lexi are just a few months apart in age and get along super well. Maddie was encouraged in her potty training as Lexi is a little further along than she is. They were so cute playing together and of course talked non-stop.
